Sponsoring a Scholar

Planned And Estate Gifts

The “ultimate gift” is one that is planned resulting from a contributor’s financial planning, which can be made by a contributor of any age.  Through gift instruments such as bequests, life insurance, stock, trusts, annuities, real estate, vehicles, jewelry and art, contributors can meet, their beneficiary, tax, and charity goals.  RCF welcomes these gifts, and we will recognize these contributors in our Awards & Banquet

RCF hosts a Banquet and Awards annually in New York with attendees from all the regional and international locations.  This Banquet and Award is currently the main fundraiser for the RCF.

Sponsoring a Roderick Caesar Scholar

Individuals, Corporations and Foundations support RCF through 4-year sponsorships.

In the effort to provide additional opportunities to deserving students, the benefactor has the opportunity to form a partnership with RCF and sponsor a RCF Scholar.

As a RCF Scholarship Sponsor, the annual scholar sponsor fee is $10,000 per student, or a total 4-year commitment of $60,000 per scholar.

As a RCF Scholarship sponsor, the benefactor may:

  • Name the scholarship. Scholarships may be named for individuals, companies, foundations, etc.

  • Specify a Scholar's geographic location (i.e. USA, Jamaica, Haiti or Nigeria etc).

  • Provide summer jobs or internship opportunities for their Scholar if possible. This allows the benefactor the opportunity to identify a future pool of talent from a highly qualified, diverse group of young people.

Endowing a Scholar
We encourage establishing a permanent named endowment fund to enable permanent funding for a RCF Scholar. At this time, the gift to endow a RCF Scholar is $100,000, which based upon current investment and earnings rates will provide the necessary costs for annually funding one RCF Scholar.
